LOVE EVERYONE TOTALLY!
Jesus commands us to, “LOVE EACH OTHER AS I HAVE
LOVED YOU” [Jn 15:12 NI]. How do we exhibit love? Yes, Jesus
showed loved when He washed His friends’ feet and when He died
for us. Jesus encourages us to love everyone including our
“ENEMIES” [Mt 5:44] and many times in His ministry Jesus
encourages our love. We can have love in our minds and we can sin
in our minds. Just like we sin when we have feelings of “LUST”
[Mt 5:28] as we observe immoral sexual activity or pornography,
we sin when we entertain feelings of “REVENGE” [Mt 5:39 GN]
or feelings of being “ANGRY” [Mt 5:22] as we observe people
being angry towards other in sports both individually fighting and
in sport groups called teams. Many popular competitive contact
activities some call ‘sports’ involve people exhibiting angry contact
trying to hurt another person while they are trying to win in the
‘sport’. Although only a few are killed and then they find excuses
to not blame the ‘sport’, some end up with permanent injury
including brain damage. Most winning in sports does not involve
acts of love, compassion, kindness, forgiveness, consideration, etc.
Loving others like Jesus is a lifestyle both mentally and physically.
Be encouraged to feel love for everyone in every way. Do you love
everyone?
