JESUS IS THE TRUTH!
Jesus told Pilate “I WAS BORN, AND ... CAME INTO THE
WORLD, TO TESTIFY TO THE TRUTH” [Jn 18:37 NI]. Many
find it strange that God sent Jesus to tell us the truth when God’s
children of Israel had a whole bible full of God’s truth.
Unfortunately they also had centuries of manmade laws and
teachings that concealed the truth and confused people about the
truth. Today, the same people of God continue to make up more
rules and teachings. Before we criticize them we must recognize
that Christians also have been making up rules and teachings for
many centuries starting with the men who followed Jesus when He
walked the earth and initially decided you had to be a Jew to be a
Christian. Yes, God intervened with Peter and corrected that rule as
recorded in the 10th Chapter of Acts but there have constantly been
many more manmade teachings in the hundreds of years since.
Instead of trying to tell Jews and people in the many Christian
religions their incorrect teachings, the simple way is remember
Jesus tells us “IF YOU OBEY MY TEACHING … YOU WILL
KNOW THE TRUTH, AND THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU
FREE” [Jn 8:31-32 GN]. The truth Jesus came to bring us is
simple, if we just listen to what He teaches us and obey Him, we
will be free of all manmade confusion. Do you follow the truth of
