TURN FROM YOUR SINS!
Jesus uses the illustration of a lost sheep to communicate,
“THERE WILL BE MORE REJOICING IN HEAVEN OVER
ONE SINNER WHO REPENTS …” [Lk 15:7 NI]. To repent is
more than just being sorry for doing wrong; it is turning away from
the sin. It is good to cease even thinking about the sin or sins.
Sometimes good people resent that people are happier about a lost
sinner who has turned away from their sinful lifestyle and are
jealous of the attention the person repenting receives. At times like
this we need to remember Jesus teaches us to “DENY” [Lk 9:23]
ourselves and we should join with the “REJOICING IN
HEAVEN OVER ONE SINNER WHO REPENTS”. Are you
happy to see people repent?
