BEING OBEDIENT After some illustrations, Jesus concluded, “WHEN YOU FINISH DOING ALL THAT YOU ARE TOLD TO DO, YOU SHOULD SAY, ‘WE ARE NOT WORTHY OF ANY SPECIAL THANKS. WE HAVE ONLY DONE THE WORK WE SHOULD DO’”  [Lk 17:10 ER]. An extreme example might be, if someone made you very mad, rather than killing them, you “FORGIVE” [Lk 17:3] them. You do not deserve any special thanks from God for forgiving rather than killing the person, as Jesus tells us to forgive, also to not kill. Do you do what Jesus tells you to do?
