LOVE JESUS At the completion of Jesus' baptism, a voice was heard from heaven that was apparently God speaking about Jesus saying, "YOU ARE MY SON, WHOM I LOVE; WITH YOU I AM WELL PLEASED" [Lk 3:22 NI]{Mt 3:17}{Mk 1:11}. Later in Jesus ministry, God’s voice was heard and Jesus stated, "THIS VOICE WAS FOR YOUR BENEFIT, NOT MINE" [Jn 12:30 NI]. As it is obvious that Jesus is in communication with God, it is highly possible that hearing God's voice after Jesus baptism was affirming Jesus for Jesus' benefit and for our benefit.
