OBEY JESUS! Many people who love Jesus celebrate the day Jesus was born called Christmas and celebrate the day Jesus was resurrected from the dead called Easter. Frequently they celebrate Christmas and Easter by attending religious worship services. Often ignoring that Jesus stated, “THEIR WORSHIP OF ME IS WORTHLESS.  THE THINGS THEY TEACH ARE NOTHING BUT HUMAN RULES” [Mk 7:7 NI]. Jesus expressed frustration with people who say they love and respect Him when He asked, “WHY DO YOU CALL ME, `LORD, LORD,' AND DO NOT DO WHAT I SAY?” [Lk 6:46 NI] Or as a modern translation put it “WHY ARE YOU SO POLITE WITH ME, ALWAYS SAYING ‘YES, SIR,’ AND ‘THAT’S RIGHT, SIR,’ BUT NEVER DOING A THING I TELL YOU?” [Lk 6:46 MSG]  Calling Jesus our “LORD” or master is of no value if we do not obey Him. When Jesus said, “BY THEIR FRUIT YOU WILL RECOGNIZE THEM” [Mt 7:20 NI] it definitely applies to obeying Him.
