UNDERSTANDING In response to His apprentices asking why He speaks in parables or stories, Jesus mentions that some people look but do not see and listen but do not hear or understand. However, Jesus states to His apprentices “GOD HAS BLESSED YOU, BECAUSE YOUR EYES CAN SEE AND YOUR EARS CAN HEAR” [Mt 13:16 CE]{Lk 10:23}.
