DO NOT STEAL FROM GOD! After chasing out people who were taking advantage of God's people, Jesus quoted God saying “‘MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER,’ BUT YOU HAVE MADE IT A DEN OF THIEVES.” [Mt 21:13 NKJ]{Mk 11:17}{Lk 19:46}. In Jesus’ day they took advantage of people by making a profit off of people’s desire to give to God.  There are people today that take advantage of people financially by convincing them giving money will help their healing or will help them have more money.  Some lead people to believe their giving will help them have eternal life and/or result in prayers for their love ones to have eternal life. Some promote fund raisers to help in many ways while profiting off the fund raisers.  We need to be careful to not take money that belongs to God or make money off people’s desire to give to God.
