NEVER STOP LIVING! Jesus quoted that “GOD SAID, "I AM THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, THE GOD OF ISAAC, AND THE GOD OF JACOB.' {Ex 3:6} GOD IS THE GOD OF LIVING PEOPLE” [Mt 22:32 IC]{Mk12:27}{Lk 20:38}. Jesus teaches us that most people, which may include "MANY" who say they believe in Jesus, are going to "ETERNAL PUNISHMENT" [Mt 7:13-14 NI] when their bodies die, which Jesus describes as where "THEIR WORM DOES NOT DIE, AND THE FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED" [Mk 9:48 NI].  Unfortunately only a "FEW" will have "ETERNAL LIFE". God does not want anyone to "BE LOST" [Mt 18:14 NI]. Many are so convinced with their beliefs about salvation or being born again or eternal life that they might consider it a lack of faith to consider anything else, including what Jesus teaches. An example of strong incorrect faith was the people to whom Jesus told, "YOU DILIGENTLY STUDY THE SCRIPTURES BECAUSE YOU THINK THAT BY THEM YOU POSSESS ETERNAL LIFE …", and then went on to tell them why they were incorrect. Scriptures in the bible help us know God and Jesus better but are not the source of eternal life. When Jesus says to see the Kingdom of God we must be "BORN AGAIN" [Jn 3:3 NI], many teachings are made up to teach how to be born again. Jesus may have given us the best understanding when He said, "UNLESS YOU CHANGE AND BECOME LIKE CHILDREN, YOU WILL NEVER ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. THE GREATEST IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS THE ONE WHO HUMBLES HIMSELF AND BECOMES LIKE THIS CHILD" [Mt 18:3-4 GN]. To be born again we must deny our wants and desires and totally subordinate ourselves to God like a dependent, submissive child. Jesus tells us “THOSE WHO LIVE AND BELIEVE IN ME WILL NEVER DIE” [Jn 11:26 GN]. We will keep on living after our bodies die. Will you live forever? Home, Basic,  Subjects, Scriptures
