AGAINST TEMPTATION Jesus was in the garden with three of His apprentices, praying about His concerns, regarding the painful death He was soon to experience. When He found them asleep, He said, “STAY AWAKE AND PRAY FOR STRENGTH AGAINST TEMPTATION. YOUR SPIRIT WANTS TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT, BUT YOUR BODY IS WEAK” [Mt 26:41 ER]{Mk 14:38}{Lk 22:46}.
