BE PURE While sitting on a mountainside so a large crowd could hear Him, Jesus teaches “THEY ARE BLESSED WHOSE THOUGHTS ARE PURE [OR WHOSE HEARTS ARE PURE;THE PURE IN HEART], FOR THEY WILL SEE GOD” [Mt 5:8 EX]. At another time in Jesus’ ministry, He mentions “OUT OF YOUR HEART COME EVIL THOUGHTS …” [Mk 7:21 CE] and then lists some sinful things that result from our evil thoughts. Are your thoughts pure?
