KINGDOM GOD'S KINGDOM IS IN YOU! Jesus teaches us to pray is “OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN … MAY YOUR KINGDOM COME …” Mt 6:9-10 GN{Lk 11:2}. As Jesus began His ministry He told people, "THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NEAR" Mk 1:15 GN. Yes, many people in Jesus day just like today confused this with an earthly kingdom or with the final kingdom in eternity. Jesus was teaching us to pray for events now, in this life, as these verses included “MAY YOUR HOLY NAME BE HONORED”, certainly there will be no lack in honoring God’s holy name in the final kingdom in eternity and “MAY YOUR WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN”, certainly everything will be in God’s will in heaven. To help clarify the location of the kingdom, Jesus stated, "THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU" Lk 17:21 GN. Obey Jesus by praying for God’s kingdom daily, knowing as we pray what we are praying for.
